My practice, in journalism as in commissioned work, moves between editorial and documentary approaches, guided by a personal photographic voice, attentive to complexity and rooted in lived realities.
Je photographie un visage comme la porte d’entrée d'une histoire. L’image doit parler de qui se tient là, dans un regard, un silence, un éclat. L’enjeu : rendre justice à un parcours, à une présence, laisser trace. Faire que cette seconde compte.
I photograph a face as the doorway to a story. The image must speak of the one standing there, in a gaze, a silence, a spark. The intent: to do justice to a journey, to a presence , to leave a trace. To make that second count.
Voir ce qui compte. Comprendre ce qui doit passer. Et le traduire juste. J ’aborde chaque commande avec les outils du photojournaliste : écoute rapide, lecture du contexte, regard clair. Pour donner sa force au message. A travers une narration esthétique, juste et précise.
See what matters. Understand what must be conveyed. And translate it right. I approach each assignment with a photojournalist’s tools : quick listening, contextual reading, a clear gaze. To give strength to the message, through a narrative that is aesthetic, precise, and true.

Shoot Your Face est un espace de résistance à l’essentialisation. Un projet de portraits où le visage devient texte, onde, présence. Chaque image tente de dire un itinéraire, un instant, un lieu, une époque, à hauteur d’homme.
Shoot Your Face is a space of resistance against essentialism. A portrait project where the face becomes text, wave, presence. Each image seeks to express a path, a moment, a place, a time, at human scale.
DOCUMENTAIRE
Le documentaire est une forme d’attention. À ce qui se transmet, se tait, persiste. Je travaille dans la durée, au croisement du visible et du vécu, avec des images qui écoutent, et des récits qui ne peuvent être perdus.
Documentary, fis a form of attention. To what is passed on, kept silent, or endures. I work over time, where the visible meets the lived, with images that listen, and stories that cannot be lost.
